Improvement of Resin by Processing Aid of CPE

1. Melt rheology modification: PVC melt has the disadvantages of poor strength, poor ductility and melts fracture, and PVC processing aids can improve the above problems of melt. Its mechanism of action is: to increase the viscoelasticity of PVC melt, thereby improving die expansion and increasing melt strength;

2. Endows lubricity: The PVC-compatible part of the Processing Aid is first melted to promote melting; while the incompatible part with PVC migrates out of the molten resin system, thereby improving mold release;

3. Promote resin melting: When the PVC resin is heated under shearing force, the processing modifier first melts and adheres to the surface of the PVC resin particles. Based on its compatibility with the resin and high molecular weight, the viscosity, and friction of the PVC increase. This effectively transfers shear stress and heat to the entire PVC resin, accelerating PVC melting.
