Applications of CPVC
1.CPVC pipe is used for transporting hot sewage, electroplating solution, thermochemical reagent and wet chlorine gas in chlor alkali plant. It can keep enough strength when the temperature is less than 100 ℃, and can be used for a long time under high internal pressure. The pipe made of CPVC has light weight, good heat insulation performance and no need of heat preservation.
2.CPVC injection parts, such as pipe fittings, filter materials, dehydrators, wire ducts, conductor protective layer, electric switch, fuse cover, cable insulation material, etc.
3. CPVC calendered sheet is used to manufacture chemical resistant and corrosion-resistant chemical equipment, such as reactors, valves, electrolyzers, etc.
4.CPVC composites composed of CPVC and some inorganic or organic fibers have better impact resistance and heat resistance than those of other resins. They can be made into plates, pipes, corrugated plates and profiles.
5. CPVC can be used to modify the fiber. The heat resistance of the product can be greatly improved by adding 30% CPVC in the spinning process. The shrinkage of the product can be reduced from 50% to less than 10%.
6. The heat resistance of foaming CPVC is better than that of PVC. It can be used as thermal insulation material of hot water pipe and steam pipe
7. Transparent CPVC can be used in automobiles, compact discs and audio-visual products.
