The total amount of stabilizer is determined according to the processing method. For example, in the twin-screw extrusion process, the amount of stabilizer is smaller than that of the single screw. More injection molding is used than in the extrusion process. Transparent and light colored products are processed at a more stable dose than darker products.

9. Possible disadvantages of powdered calcium and zinc stabilizers
